Nice - I forgot that you actually came up with Peepeth's new batch signing idea. What are some of your projects?
I’m working of economies for games.

Hm, temporary editing abilities but lock-in after a cutoff date... maybe batches every 12AM/PM, and your pending Peep gets added to the pool that's closest to 7 days past your post time... interesting
Peep batches are saved approx every hour.

There is also a guide.

Does anyone have a good tutorial that doesn't assume I'm a master at various things that could help me figure out how to use GitHub pages? I love the idea of static pages but absent any sort of CMS, I feel a bit lost.

Interesting - have you played around with IPFS by chance?
A bit. Decentralised projects need blockchain and decentralised storage.

Nobody cares, really, what you pronounce, unless you're running for office. Any concern of 'permanence' is absurd. Nothing is permanent. All the money in the world cannot make your peep permanent, so don't worry.
Overall no one cares, unless someone does the research for a reason and then you can’t run for public office.
Replying to @d2r2 (0x25551cdc379e74f36da97acdf81212c459fb9e67)
You can't undo actions. It's a ludicrous proposition. To attempt to 'undo' is an action itself. No wonder we're so messed up if we worry about this nonsense. "I'd like to take back that fart." Right.
But that action isn’t written on a permanent record for your grand children, future employer, AI overlord to read. Though hide only protects your unwise actions from those who don’t do basic research.
I love Peepeth because I believe in the power of true ownership.
Just keep peeping.

Why I like Peepeth p2 On Peepeth I can't be perfect. But I also can't pretend to be. Typical social media - from publishing platforms to instant messaging - is ephemeral & very easy to edit/delete. But Peepeth? It's forever, so long as a copy of the ETH blockchain exists.
Blockchain storage rent and IPFS storage costs will come but there is no guaranteed delete.
I was dreaming of Swedish Fish and found a store that sells them in Melbourne randomly. Ridiculous price but oh so good.

I have also seen many influential figures - even thought leaders in the crypto space - delete controversial Tweets. I think this may be a reason some of them are avoiding Peepeth. If the world wants a delete button... one can be provided. Blockchain social media could still work
Hide peep, edit peep, hide account. All will likely be needed.

Yes, but would that satisfy people that *wanted* delete buttons? I dunno. There seems to be a sharp contrast between hiding and deleting to me. I know, I know... "nothing is ever deleted" even today - but a delete button needs to delete - not just hide...
It would need to be a hide button. GDPR needs at least a hide that is respected by all front ends that want compliance with GDPR.

When and how did you start with Crypto - I initially started reading about bitcoin in May 2017 but when i started to read about thebitcoinfamily story in Sept 2017 i seriously started to read about technology and also started to invest in few Cryptos #cryptostorieswhenandhow
I went down the rabbit hole over a year ago. I’d looked previously but really got it good then.

Interesting. In a kinda... too bad it's come to this sorta way. Might be useful down the interstellar road, too, huh?
On Mars I thought we whack all of our industry to change the atmosphere.
I assume that these should be put where there is cheap sustainable energy (wind, thermal, solar)

That sounds like a good approach. Any other ideas much appreciated.
Need free as the entry point. No ether required just a private key (signers or mobile apps can manage the onboarding for keys). Then either gain or lose privilege of free things whether it is peeps or Ensō or allowed characters.

Ether ownership / web3 presents a massive barrier indeed. Wondering how social incentives can be used to encourage thoughtful, positive contribution.
Limit the number of free peeps per day. If your reputation goes up you can get more, if it goes down you get less.
Reputation could be based on Ensō and replies.

Even if it did indicate quality, is quality worth the loss of accessibility? Probably not. 🤔
You can mute low quality high quantity peepers (even if that is me).
Peeping should be accessible to anyone with access to a computer/smartphone and the Internet.
Peeps for the many not just a few.

Seriously? Are there no paying blockchain jobs in San Diego? I thought there would at least be support roles for exchanges such as Coinbase and community manager roles about.

There will likely need to be a hide peep for a variety of reasons, though that is not a delete.
There could be an edit peep, but the original version would still be available.

That's one of the reasons blockchain is good for social media. Not even peepeth can edit it. But I wonder if they can take peeps down... IE corporations interesting peepeth to take them down some day.
