Ron the budgie passed away early this morning. She had been under medical treatment for several months. Here's my favorite pic of her! I want to say thank you so much to everyone who sent us love and warm words.
Iβm so sorry Shigako.
I have loved seeing all the photos of Ron on peepeth this year. Thank you for sharing.

Want to change the narrative on Ethereum? What about: "Once every web browser comes with an ethereum wallet integrated, go try to stop that network effect!" We may be witnessing the industry move that will establish Ethereum the defacto store of value!
Once Android and iOS manage private keys as part of the OS

I am peepething (?) using the latest version of Opera with a crypto-wallet integrated and the UX is just super sleak. Fyi, their crypto-wallet is Ethereum only (ETH, ERC20, ERC721). It does not support bitcoin...

Charlotte, like many other girls names, can and often is, shortened to Charlie. Georgina to George etc. It would make it almost impossible for an employer to tell the sex by a letter unless the person puts, Mr, Mrs, or Miss before the name. Most people put the first character.
Until the potential employers asks for your legal name, age and gender on their standard form.
The best recruitment processes are race, gender and age blind at point of entry.

Itβs interesting to see how names have changed in popularity for assigned genders over time.

Oh yes, definitely. I like physical books for tactile memory + doodling, but for hefty books there's simply no other option.
I have had half my backpack filled with books before. Though walking the South Downs Way (100 miles) I read books on my phone.

You can't have a white name, just the same as you can't have a black name. For instance, My name is David and I am white English born and bred. I am guessing the name originated from Israel. I could also change my name to Samuel L. Jackson. Doesn't change the colour of my skin.
Looking at popular names from different countries suggests that there are associated names and the previous referenced study suggested that some names are treated differently https://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/lists/most-popular-names-around-the-world-what-they-mean/

Makes sense..... I really know little about the project but liked it first time I became aware (and got on list). Is there a path to a million users and can it handle that much transaction volume?
Scaling on the client is a Web2.0 problem that has been solved many times.
Scaling on Web3.0 is already handled by Peepeth (batch saving of all peepers peeps).

Interesting. So the dApp is wanted but the dApp browser not so much? Will that change?
The requirements for a dApp browser and Ether are huge barriers for non-crypto users.
When wallets are part of the mobile OS and dApp browsers are part of all browsers then this will change.

This white privilege narrative has to stop. It has to be nipped in the bud before it grows into something that cannot be contained. It is nonsense that is divisive as much as it is manufactured.
The following study (15 years old now) is an example of the impact of a name.

Hey @abcoathup ...... Looked at your profile. So when you started peeping there were only the 7 of you. Is it a set amount that come on platform every day that you have seen? I am trying to figure how they are onboarding people (and how it will go with volume).
One of the aims behind the crowd funding is for new users not to need Ether or to use a dApp browser.
Iβm using an unofficial iOS client for Peepeth and the experience is great.

Growth has been varied. Gas market price impacted adoption and use (hence free peeping https://medium.com/@abcoathup/evolution-of-decentralised-social-media-dfe567d23e54).
Prominent peepers drew in new people.
