Hello from sunny SoCal! We have a thriving blockchain community here in Blockchain Beach! Come visit us!
Welcome @Steve ! Just visited LA for the first time in January. @Lana and I drove out from Philadelphia. We absolutely loved it there. Might be back eventually ;)

Peepeth is a pretty exciting project. But, I confess, I'm worried that the (admittedly very small) fees for posting will prevent wide adoption. Seems like one could experiment with non-privacy invading advertising to cover those fees—and maybe even pay users and client devs.
The absence of advertising is one of the main reasons I’m here. I’d prefer different solutions for global adoption than making users part of the product again. ETH pool sounds like a viable option for locations with little access to capital/ETH @Bevan .
Anyone try this app yet? Or have a lightning wallet for iOS that they use?

Been struggling to wrap my mind around my upcoming move. After 8 years in China, I'm heading to DC to be closer to family and start a new life stage. Time for my daily affirmation check-in: this is not an obstacle but a great life opportunity. Bring it on. #thankyou #lifedecision
Best of luck Hannah!

Nice! I take it you're Tim Ferriss fan?
I actually heard about it from Brian Armstrong on Twitter, but then I checked out the podcast with Naval he recommended as well. Great listen!
My five-minute journal came in today! Looking forward to using this to enhance my gratitude and outlook.

I’m an outdoor enthusiast with a degree in Community Health. I’m interested in blending decentralized apps with nature activities such as hiking and mountain biking. Anyhow, here’s a picture from the beaches of Southern California at low tide.
Love it! Interesting combination as well. I look forward to your content.

Hello Peepeth World! (man haven't written a message like this since Myspace). How did everyone find about Peepeth? How do people envision it's future? Do people view it as a threat to Twitter or complimentary? (yes I ask such deep, thought provoking questions).
Hello Chris and welcome! I heard about Peepeth from @sid on Twitter. He posts a lot of great content. I imagine the future of Peepeth is going to be game changing for social media, journalism and the free flow of information. It’s model is a threat to Twitter if they don’t adapt.
Saw the Best F(r)iends movie. Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse than The Room, it does 😂.

Sounds familiar. Like when we needed web browsers to access the word wide web during the 90s. We will need the same for Dapps. You could simulate a stand alone app by creating a Dapp browser that just loads Peepeth, and somehow tie the payments back to a central app.
I agree @ndelgrande

I don’t know what @bevan has in mind but you can run your own mini-recruitment drive. Ask friends/coworkers in crypto to join (anyone already down the rabbit hole). Ask twitter followers. Show a friend/family member how to peep on a mobile app, give them ETH. Then repeat
Most of my friends/fam will forgo trying because using Toshi and/or a DApp browser will be too complicated for them. They’d prefer a standalone app. Everyone I know interested in crypto will know about peepeth soon enough though ;)
