I underestimated the height in the middle (bottom is lower than trail with a rough landing). Was interesting to feel the ol’ freeze response then to very slowly turn.

I came across these flowers today. The image doesn't do it justice. These flowers are such an intense color that they kept throwing off my iPhone's camera. The leaves are dark and mostly grey in a way that it looks like it was photoshopped for a film noir look.
They look really nice. Not sure if I've seen these before. Google image search says bougainvillea, but that doesn't seem to be right.

I prefer my flip-phone; when I want to take photos, I bring my DSLR.
A flip phone sounds like an interesting alternative. Has anyone else made that jump? A reasonable compromise for me has been not always carrying the phone or turning it off.
