This is in Oakland, California. Jackfruit is pretty exotic here, but they seem to be getting more popular. I've seen them at a few markets recently.
Many things were sold out at the store today. Jackfruit, however, was still available.

I didn’t know it was so big: “The Red Sea reef system is one of the world’s longest, stretching down some 4,000 kilometers (2,485 miles) of coastline.”
I was lucky to dive on a section of the reef years ago. Sad to hear these predictions.
