Oh, any time! It wasn't really directed at you folks, though. Just general musings. Is there a blog or central location for updates, btw? Roadmap?

Not really, it’s time I set one up though.

Currently mostly focused on KnowYourself.ai (hope to fund Peepeth development with that).

Had an issue uploading a gif (said the name was invalid... weird). Let's see how a Giphy small gif media link works! https://media.giphy.com/media/rVbAzUUSUC6dO/200w_d.gif

There was a gif-related bug, so gif uploads are temporarily disabled.

Someone that has a hard time understanding what a VPN does, for example, is about as far from understanding blockchain as it gets. I think I can qualify myself as fairly tech savvy and I still get lost at times.

It’s has a long way to go indeed.

The next major feature will make onboarding without a wallet possible, which should help. Existing users can enable this feature in settings (to sign in with email address only).

I still don't think I've found a really good, clear, ELI5-style how-to, explanation, and FAQ about the whole thing. So much knowledge is just presumed (and very rarely actually exists).

Still working on that :) appreciate the feedback!

That blurb was written by an AI, OpenAI's GPT-2, which was released on Nov 5: https://openai.com/blog/gpt-2-1-5b-release/ I generated that blurb with the prompt "Rooibos tea benefits". Try out GPT-2 here: https://talktotransformer.com/

The AI-generated blurb is probably not factual, but rooibos does apparently have many benefits: https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/rooibos-tea-benefits

(Mainly wanted to showcase GPT-2)

Are you a tea drinker? What kind do you like? I've been enjoying rooibos recently (technically speaking an herbal tea). Nice caffeine-free alternative with many purported health benefits.

The trick is in staying focused and not allowing yourself to get tired. I can do all night now on one cup of coffee. But plan your tasks - no point trying to code if your brain is too tired. Eyestrain / dry eyes from screens is what normally gets me 🤓

Having a plan written out is really helpful.

How much time do you spend planning / prioritizing, relative to the actual work?

Is it intermittent fasting or what?

Yes, a 24-hour fast. It's not a big deal (I do late lunch to late lunch- not really missing much), but has been a worthwhile experiment. It saves time on fasting day, I can be more productive, and it's apparently healthy.

That niche does seem to have a branding problem. What are your favorites?

In NZ, we observe daylight saving time, but it is reverse of what you have in the northern hemisphere as seasons are reversed. Trust it maximizes available sunlight to get your work done.

That makes sense.

Apparently, the day with the most traffic accidents is the day daylight saving takes effect in the spring (in the US at least), on account of people getting an hour less sleep.
