Here to save the cryptoverse from Craig Wright.
Does Craig Wright have any prior history of fraudulent behavior?

I just released a new version of Peepeth Enhancer. This fixes a lot of the small cosmetic problems with dark mode. If anyone is familiar with creating browser extensions I could use a hand with that. https://gist.github.com/jordanmack/e36c3cb87b6a0d6ee23de924baaf318d

What is the Enhancer? Looks good though!
It is a user script that runs on the Tampermonkey browser extension. You can find the current version of the user script here:

I'd love to help out, reminds me of Reddit Enhancement Suite. Is this an open source project? Do you support Brave? (I'm assuming Chrome and Firefox, at least?)
Yes, it is an open source user script. It runs on the Tampermonkey plugin for Chrome. The Firefox version would be Greasemonkey. I'm not sure what it would be for Brave.

Is this enhancer a chrome plugin?
It is a user script that runs on the Tampermonkey plugin for Chrome. There are similar plugins that should also work for other browsers.

Thanks for your willingness to talk! What’s the times difference between us?
I'm in California, so probably a couple hours time difference. You can find my website on my Peepeth profile and my contact information is listed there.

That’s the conundrum I thought I was facing... a lack of sharing great knowledge because the more miners, the harder for those mining to discover a block, and make money. So, it’s a lonely journey, and asking miners for help is like asking a salesman to be honest.
In each community you can generally find individuals who are willing to help each other out, especially if you're just getting started. Any information or software that is good enough to give you a strong advantage over the general public is always secretive.

That’s good news about the level of education not being an expert! I have to back track for a second, because I didn’t realize a GPU had to be built. I knew it was somehow different than your everyday CPU, but yeah... do you prefer to use these GPU builds?
I generally prefer GPUs, but I have run more ASICs recently. The market for GPU mining is shrinking dramatically.

Awesome! Thank you! 1. Can someone without a computer degree figure it out? 2. Do you know of any tutorial websites, or videos that walk people through it? 3. If I get stuck, would you be willing to skype or FaceTime with me? Of course, I’d pay for your time!
3. I'd be willing to talk to you on Skype right now if you want; no charge. Getting into mining is a fairly large investment of time and money. It's better that you know exactly what you're getting into before you make that decision.

2. There are plenty of YouTube videos that demonstrate the basics. There are tutorials out there as well of varying quality. Finding good sources of information can be tricky with mining since the communities that help you are also your competition.

1. No computer science degree is required. ASICs are generally not much more complicated than setting up a DVD player. GPU rigs are a little more involved, but if you can build a computer you can build a GPU rig.

This is something I've tried to explain to people who are looking to start development projects. Hiring competent developers is expensive, but the alternative is flushing your money down the toilet.

It's a cheap computer and I'm downloading the ledger on an external spinning disk. Maybe that's the reason.
If the computer has enough RAM, you could try increasing the database cache on the client. This might help with that. http://bit.ly/2N0ngyA

How long has it taken you to download the Bitcoin core wallet? It's been 14 days and at 75% complete on a robust 50mbps download. Normal?
That sounds abnormal to me. I think it took me 2-3 days the last time I did it. It can take much longer if it is a slow computer. You can also download blockchain snapshots via BitTorrent. Less secure that way, but much quicker.

Hi everybody, I am curious about this new platform and whom to meet here. Just built a music player adapted to a handicapped person. A raspberry pi in a wooden box with a sensor for skipping to the next title. The sensor detects a hand coming close. See profile photo.
Nice. What kind of a sensor are you using for the hand wave detection?

Non-editable peeps are fine, but I don't see the point in them being non-editable before going onto the blockchain (clicking sign & save should be the "real" button imo).
There was some talk of editing before commit and selective commit at some point. I'm sure the wish list is about a mile long now.

There is a magnifying glass icon in the top menu. That gives some search functionality. I don't believe that full functionality has been implemented yet. I'm sure it's on Bevan's todo list.

@fred - I'm afraid you are setting a bad precedent with these cryptic peeps. They look a little like something a bot would peep... and bots are why front ends will have to implement captchas for accounts the community marks as potentially ... not human. @Bevan
@fred and @ano might end up being the first users I'll have to mute, even though I like their music selections. I'm all for having our future AI overlords on Peepeth, but the non-sensical spam is getting irritating.
