Amazing how every call center is always "experiencing abnormally high call volume" every single time I call regardless of the day of the week or time of day.

Does anyone else get an itchy trigger finger and just save to blockchain at like 13-14 actions?
When gas prices are low I sometimes commit with only 1 action.

What a terrible name for a candy.
What a terrible candy.
Amazing. They look so peaceful while freely roaming.
Embarrassing events that happened a decade ago still make me cringe when I remember them. I know I'm not alone in that. If one had a choice, would forgetting free you from needless baggage, or cause you to forget the lesson?

Eventually there will be some form of rent for IPFS. Each client will likely have an optimised copy for their use too.
So if you want to delete something from the record, you just stop paying your IPFS rent?

Is it really that bad? I didn't watch it yet.
There are a few good scenes, but so many that were just bad. Lots of poorly written dialog and extremely rushed scenes. The entire thing feels like the first draft of a story, before it is polished and refined.
I finally watched The Last Jedi. I thought the haters were over reacting. Iβm not saying I support their mindless bashing... but I understand.

For peeps who want to peep from #iOS, Cipher (https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/cipher-browser-ethereum/id1294572970) works a treat. Just restore your metamask wallet using the 12-word recovery phrase. Props to @pete π
Trust also works just fine with the same recovery password. I have both Trust and Cipher on my iPad right now.
@bevan #suggestion I would really like a way to post a link without automatically expanding it in the post.

Hey all, just pushed some small fixes. Peep links work better. Embeds are now https only (no more SSL warnings). Double-posting issue is fixed. Accent issue should also be resolved.

To the best of my knowledge, this is actually how it is designed. I think that's the correct approach.
I'm sure IPFS isn't imposing the 280 char limit, but right now the front end is truncating past 280 characters. Continuing to impose these arbitrary limits now that we are in a post SMS base era just seems counterproductive.
On the topic of market decisions, I also see peep length as being subject to this. 280 chars should be a front end "above the fold" limit only. Add a "read more" expansion link for those longer. Why stop posting of a 500 page document? Users decide if they want to read it or not.

Need to warn users when tips are lower than gas. Purchasing last night when the gas price was set incorrectly, the transaction fee was half the purchase price.
Batching of tips could also be a possibility in the future. Could be tricky though. The more complex the contract, the more gas cost overhead.
Replying to @abcoathup (0x13ebd3443fa5575f0eb173e323d8419f7452cfb1)
$1 is currently the minimum. Anything less than ten cents is probably too small due to gas cost.
I say custom amounts should be allowed. The market will decide if it is too big or small due to gas costs.

Although a reward/incentive system is interesting, however who would pay?
Under the current revenue model of Peepeth, the only place it could come from is a percentage of tips. That doesn't give a lot of room at the moment, but there also isn't much needed since there is currently no spam.
Replying to @CallMeGwei (0x285bc660aa42b8effc6c60357cd4d8ca072be625)
Note quite ensΕ worthy, but still very like-able... do we need that "cheap" like metric? It really feels like somethings missing without it! #lkie
I agree that something is missing. Micro-tips could help serve this purpose, but generic likes could also be beneficial.

I also use a site called raffle miner, which mines a coin (forgot sorry) and draws a lottery daily, hourly, and weekly, and you actually tend to make much more than you would mining regularly, unless you mine inconsistently. Probably not as great for this type of thing.
Since the Ethereum network maintains consensus, additional mining isn't required. I think incentives on Peepeth would probably serve more benefit if they took the form of something like rewards for moderation or filtration.

Had an interesting thought that I haven't thought out a whole lot but you guys can criticize me. What if Peepeth implemented a web miner into the site that people could just a click a button to access and mine to their wallet directly to fund those peeps?
What would you be mining? Ether?

I'm off the caffeine too. Could never get addicted to it, always got jitters and weird emotions, so just dropped it altogether. Good riddance.
Caffeine never really helped me feel more alert. Jittery sometimes, but still tired. I also try to avoid caffeine. I still like tea though. I usually drink herbal tea, but green has some health benefits so I've been trying to incorporate a small amount into my diet.

2 cups almond/coconut milk heated for 2 mins in microwave, 2 tsp matcha powder (I use culinary grade), 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tsp cacao powder, few shakes of cinnamon, dash of ginger and cardamom, 2 droppers of liquid stevia. I add a dash of cayenne pepper too - I like spicy!
Awesome, I'll give it a try tomorrow. π

My regular morning hot drink is matcha with almond/coconut milk, coconut oil, cacao powder, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and stevia in a blender. Keeps me going all day without the caffeine jitters.
I think I have all of those ingredients. Is there a specific recipe you follow, or should I just throw a bit of everything in there?

I second the Ledger Nano S. It is one of the less expensive wallets, and it has great support for a lot of currencies. It doesn't work flawlessly. It definitely has some quirks, but it gets the job done.
