I like ETH because you can donate it on here 🐦. I love the Doge because it’s Doge. The XRP token was where I flipped a little cash too. Bought at .25 sold at 2 also. Haven’t saught to much into the alts lately though. Just the big daddies for moment.

My portfolio is mainly ETH (50%) BTC (15%) and the rest are long term alt investments. I am really excited about upcoming securities token standards like Polymath and their proposed ST20 securities token.

Cipher was what I started using after learning about it here. Went from Toshi to Cipher. (iOS)

Thanks @Plumber86 I will check it out.

What is everyone using to access Peepeth? I know MetaMask is great and Toshi does a decent job on mobile. Any other Dapp browsers out there?

For the flags that are not necessarily set by the poster, the challenge, obviously, is how to reach consensus on a flag. For example, what's the oracle that can flag content as copyright infringement?

I can only think of another Blockchain that specializes in digital asset ownership. Actually multiple sources/chains to ensure it is correct.

Happy Easter!

@bevon since you sre saving Tx costs by writing to the block chain in batches, where is the data stored before the Tx is made? Directly to IPFS?

If peeps are permanent on both Ethereum and on IPFS, what does this mean for the posting of copyright infringement material? This is also worrying if someone takes someone else's material and monetizes it through tips. I wonder if there is a possible solution to this?

Just to add to Andrew's post, the peep post data isn't saved on the Ethereum Blackchain. A IPFS address is stored which is read by the Dapp browser and loaded. To hide posts, another attribue can be created on the BC to show/hide.

Most of my friends/fam will forgo trying because using Toshi and/or a DApp browser will be too complicated for them. They’d prefer a standalone app. Everyone I know interested in crypto will know about peepeth soon enough though ;)

Sounds familiar. Like when we needed web browsers to access the word wide web during the 90s. We will need the same for Dapps. You could simulate a stand alone app by creating a Dapp browser that just loads Peepeth, and somehow tie the payments back to a central app.

@bevan how do you think Peepeth would scale if a flood of new users came in?

I'm wondering if this is a good idea... then @Bevan has to write a wallet from scratch? And new users says "cool" but then they can't use their peepeth wallet for any other dapps? Ideally, it seems like we need os support for crypto identities...

@CallMeGwei I agree I don't see it as the proper model for Dapps. Just like with Netscape during the early web days, a good solid cross platform Dapp browser is needed. (Which are in the works) I am using Toshi on Android and haven't had any issues of yet.

Over the last couple weeks I have been experimenting with a trading bot I purchased. Even with the current crypto market conditions I was able to stay net positive. I HODL most of what I got but have been enjoying the experience. There is always more to learn!
