Hahaha. I'm on your side @pluma, coffee is life.

Both stances are way too generalized, of course :) Mind is often child-like and we need tricks to keep it focused. Pomodoro is just one of them. Criticizing that one in particular is like saying that whoever needs a coffee in the morning doesn't like their job enough :)

Yep good point. https://sivers.org/counter :)

I find the Pomodoro method tends to go out the window in crunch time. However, the rest of the time, it seems to work.

Really good. Liked @APompliano's musing about the benefits of large social networks & at what point do they "cross the line" into not being a 'choice' anymore?

Also @muneeb's suggestion of a "crypto search" / unified UX 😃 —timestamp link: https://overcast.fm/+OWGw6a9qU/1:10:21

#Peepeth is indeed a nice experiment, however I do find that the mental overhead required to 'lock' my peeps - even if they are batched - will prevent me from being a daily user.

Fair point - keep in mind that this is intended to be temporary and the blockchain-backed nature of the site is intended to dissolve into invisibility

My answer to everyone who tells me that the job needs to be done in 5th gear all the time is that they're either understaffed or bad at organization of work.

Fair point, I like Nat's challenge to the current thinking regarding pomodoros, though. If you're forcing yourself to work and giving yourself tiny little optimised breaks, it's probably not great work.

On Netflix, at least ;)
Other than that we live in our hobbit holes and read scrolls imported from Gondor.

Let me share with you a Vietnamese noodle soup. Vietnamese people like to eat Pho. It is pronounce as English "Fur." It is made out of beef broth and noodle. A lot of the time it has beef or chicken and noodle. We eat it with veggies and hot sauce. It is best serve hot.

Welcome @cryptoduy - Pho sounds delicious. Have you got any favourite recipe for it?

Can any peeps on here share any first hand experience/knowledge on applying blockchain tech to supply chain business operations?

I don't have experience myself, but @NemOrigins is an example of a blockchain-backed ($XEM) supply chain transparency platform. Here's a recent Tweet:

Oh so cool! Didn’t know about this stats page. Would be amazing to see a peepmap (should store geo data first, and I am not sure I like the idea).

Many people self-declare locations, which could be used (unrecognised cities/locations could just be ignored?)

Satisfaction metrics = little updates in the admin interface of $$$ generated, time saved. Also harness network effects by adding in unobtrusive review links, honest requests to refer friends to buy the app (or get free trials etc). I'm amazed at how little shopify apps do this.

IMO you can do a lot better than 90% of Shopify apps just by speaking the language of the store owners...

I never did it myself, but my plans were to: *Reach out to eCommerce stores on IG and ask them exactly what their aims are *Find low hanging fruit, simple to make apps - ignore competition b/c you can target better *Market to aims, not features. Add satisfaction metrics to app

Today’s Seth post is about the business benefits of being broke before starting. (How’s that for alliteration?)

Or more to the point, cut away the unnecessary, build things people want.

Decent list! I don’t have a movie to add but I do have a book recommendation: The Three-Body Problem. Such a fascinating piece, an instant classic. I “read” the Audible version and it’s very enjoyable.
