493 out of 1461 total peepeth users have purchased a mosquito net and gotten their badge!! Pretty damn impressive. Who's gonna help us get to 500 badges?!
I think that is nets. I assumed maybe 20 of us had mosquito badges. @bevan?

I noticed a couple of meat free items on the grill are shaped to look like meat (burgers, sausages). Out of curiosity, is it meat free for as a health choice or based on not choosing animal based products which require their demise? @abcoathup
I love the taste and texture of some meat. I am probably more on the animal side than on the health side of things.
I enjoy #vegan burgers, sausages, jerky and bacon.
I love the tech being thrown at meat alternatives right now.

Who's going to watch Deadpool 2 at the movies this weekend?
I’m wondering if I do a photo walk or watch Deadpool 2 or Solo movies. Hmm

And there is no Sri Lanka, no Madagascar. My goodness I hope they'll come back soon!! @abcoathup @pluma P.S. Though "mapswithoutnz" have an interesting collection...!
I was thinking about Madagascar being missing but didn’t look out for Sri Lanka.
I looked for UK/Ireland and Papua New Guinea and was pleased to see them there.
Nice map. Great to draw from memory.

What I have been wondering for some time now: Infura.io and the 'groundwork' they supply for Ethereum seems to be used a lot, by many different projects. Doesn't that somehow introduce a single point of failure?
It does.
Projects will need a backup for Ethereum and IPFS nodes. Though for now I assume many projects will keep depending on the fantastic work that Infura does.

Didn't even realised Peepeth was down. How long was the outage? #peepethdown
I assume it was Infura IPFS nodes down for an hour.

Yeah definitely, won't touch this until the prices have been ridiculously decreased.
DApps need to work out how to scale now or they are stopped dead until prices decrease.
I looked at Pokémon but they don’t support mobile yet :(
Note to dApp developers, make sure it works on mobile.

I have looked deeply into the matter of adding to the contract the functionality that enables people to delete their own mokens. Unfortunately to do this would add 20,000 gas to the mint function and add gas in other operations. What if instead I simply let users change the
Reduce the gas used is good.
Though do you want to be able to change everything once a mokens is created?

Looks like we are in a bit of a new user lull. We added 985 users in April and are at 253 for May so far (we've added a bit over 50 in the last 5 days). Have you decided if you are going to modify the batching costs/requirements @Bevan?
I assume gas price is impacting use and onboarding.

Just realized I use the same wallet on two metamasks, and cipher. Ethereum is moving to more of a "global account" feel with Dapps, so how do we secure multiple points of vulnerability? Should your wallet address be your home base?
Keep valuables in hardware wallets. Only keep small amounts of funds in soft wallets.

Do you think I should remove the functionality to ban mokens? Info about that here: https://mokens.io/about @all @abcoathup @NateStipe
Yes it should be removed from the contract. You should have moken owner destruction so you can delete what you own.
If you or the front end cease to exist or someone else has control this shouldn’t impact mokens onchain.
You will likely need a hide function on the front end

Every time I see anything about a EULA I wonder if they will eventually found to be unenforcible. If something is unreasonably difficult to read and is universally not read by anyone, how could this failed practice continue to be the basis for legal matters?
The “I have read” checkbox. I think I am one of the few who does read the terms and conditions some of the time.
Terms should be in plain language.
“Don’t kill the bar dude” says every dApp to the current gas price.
