I'd argue one possible solution is (in the eventual future), for users to be able to subscribe to user-defined feeds (userfeeds.io?) which will all have different sorting/filters. The point: can't game a system if there are too many systems to game.

The firehose of New will eventually be too much (or could be limited to New peepers)

Friends will be user curated to who you follow.

Perhaps communities will create their own feeds to match their niche.

We don't exactly have any precedent to go off of, do we? 😅 Explicit costs are good. (done) Having an open backend is good. (done) User-controlled moderation? (hard? @tay's superpeep talked about this?) it's either monolithic (and gameable) or cliquey (which is okay maybe?)

Lots of experiments to be done. Open backend means the community can always fork.

Fun times as peepeth grows.

Do HTML <a href="https://example.org">hyperlinks</a> also work? (Also, bonus question: is there a way to preview your post?)

No preview and no delete so experiments are forever. Add the #experiment hashtag and perhaps.

That looks foundationally like what I am thinking, but without weighing votes based on ETH balance and with a simpler barrier to entry (no need to sign to create poll, just pay to spawn a new poll). Can you learn me something on sign and store in IPFS? Any good articles on this?

I’ll dig around. I am working on a voting idea, similar sort of concept.

Been thinking this would be a cool dApp actually.. Something that spawns a child voting contract and associates the new contract/abi to a dynamic & embeddable poll object... I can see all the pieces in my brain, but damn do I suck at code. :p @abcoathup, does this exist already?

Regardless of what you may think of your skills, you have created a smart contract and a brand.

On-chain voting is expensive. Better to sign votes, and store in IPFS with the hash of the results on chain.

It already exists (though the current poll requirements are not suitable for fun votes)

I wonder how DappRadar.com calculates that. If it's blockchain activity, then, of course, you only need to save to the blockchain every 15 peeps. So you could have many more active users who just aren't posting more than 15 peeps per day.

I assume they count unique addresses interacting with the smart contract. Which impacts the daily numbers when peepers aren’t saving batches everyday.
