It's amazing how we already take this feat for granted.
I still remember first time I saw the video of a booster landing for the first time on YT: I thought it was pure Sci-fi. *__*

Very nice analogy, indeed!
CSS itself barely gets upgraded, but you can add an infinite amount of compilers-languages-libraries etc on top.
That's precisely one of the reasons why I'm getting excited about projects like Cosmos and Polkadot. :)

Have anyone of you know about Triple Entry Accounting. The very idea that makes bitcoin possible @AnaelleLTD @abcoathup @vbuterin.

I'm currently reading a limited edition book by R. Sharratt postulating that blockchain still needs some form of "banking". Not as a middlewo/man, but as a way to account for the exchange/store of value from an Economics standpoint, beyond the single user's wallet. Fascinating!

When you introduce anonymous/shielding features like Schnorr signatures or even Mimble wimble, you are in for a tough task when using bitcoin to assert "accountability".

Thanks for sharing, Vishal. I've just read a couple of articles on 3ple entry accounting and how bitcoin can fit in. Seems to me that, in the current sate of things, you still need "oracles" to make the bridge between the realia and the digital ledger.

This is because anyone can transact with everyone on the blockchain, so long as they have an interface to the ledger/wallet. As an auditor, you can't really prove that the person who made the order is the person who paid for the transaction and the person who received the goods.

Pretty nightmarish situation.
Seems like social media platforms have been battling on fronts against bots, fake/spam accounts, radical/extremist groups and other real-life sponsored dark consortiums.
As a result, a few genuine users have ended up in the collateral damage zone.

There is a specific kind of person that they want on the jury, and it isn't necessarily the informed individuals. For example, simply knowing what jury nullification is will get you rejected, even though it is recognized by the Supreme Court to be completely legal.
