I'd recommend a deep dive in a new foreign language. You get an intelligence boost. Also, it's worth connecting to people that aren't motivated to learn a lingua franca for a truly different perspective.
#lkie it’s time I did this.

Another day, another irritating fact: The streetlights are still on at 10:48 a.m. Why is the city wasting that energy?
Good question. Maybe they assume it could be overcast? Wonder what kind of bulbs they use.

I’ve been working on like six things, which is less than ideal. I prefer to work on one thing at a time but so it goes!

Hello
Welcome Charles 👋
I’ve been running for several weeks in preparation for a 9-miler. Not getting much faster, but getting out to the trails more has been a great tonic.

Yes, it dates back to around the 13th century. They first appeared on a city seal in 1280 then later on a couple of different coats of arms. There's also the "Buddy Bears". More recent, 140 of them. Each different & representing a country acknowledged by the United Nations.
Cool!
In Oakland there are 50 elephant statues representing the local baseball team. Wonder if they were inspired by the Berlin bears; they have a similar style. https://sf.curbed.com/2018/5/11/17345948/statues-oakland-athletics-elephants-baseball

So my dog Sloopy is thriving ever since I changed her to a raw food diet in August. Here she is on her Saturday morning shopping trip at Hound and Howl, choosing her treats! #dogsofisleofman #dogsofpeepeth #dogsoftwitter #rawdogfoodinfo
Nice to hear that!
A friend of mine showed me a dog food service yesterday called The Farmer’s Dog (website has a great UX). I guess “real food for dogs” is becoming popular.

Thought for the day #photowalk #streetart
Interesting question and cool graphic.
Last year I learned that bears are a symbol of Berlin- they’re all over the city.
Found this “shrine” the other day in the hills. Apparently it was left to honor the sleeping place of a bear (according to a passer-by). However there haven’t been bears in this area for many years.

Cool about the plant based diet and no booze. Interested to hear how it affects you. Are you making an effort to have certainly proportions of macronutrients or is plant-based your main criterion?

Somber vibes on this evening’s run. The fog was unusually low and the air seemed thicker because of it. Avoided the pit which swallowed me on my last night excursion.

Ahh... so donuts are the missing component... **calls advertising company** At my last gym, I used to finish the workout then walk straight across the road to a cafe and eat a full greasy fried breakfast. Calorie replacement, no remorse... 😋
Haha, nice. They sometimes have a taco truck parked outside mine which is my go-to.

That's because consumption of these temptations generates more money in a single day than a gym membership in a month.
Those companies have definitely learned what people like, lol.

Haha! At least there’s no donut advertisement yet or I might just pull over.
There’s also a big lottery billboard, which is actually fun to see. “What would I do with $200M?”
