Are you doing a lot of training for your trip? Or is loaded touring so taxing that you can't really train for it until you do it?

Where are @pluma and @kumaran these days? What are you up to peeps?

I'm still working on the crowdfunding rewards. Currently putting the Insight credits together, which may be split off as a separate product if it's good enough. Also planning for Peepeth 2 :)

The structure of the course is ~three-hour sessions twice a week via a conference call / screen sharing session. Hands on, collaboration, and pushing yourself seem to be the name of the game. No pre-recorded material afaik, no walls of text - learn by doing and shoot for doing important-ish things from the start.

That sounds pretty intense! Are you doing projects in groups? In the few follow-on coding meetups I've attended, there tend to be a good number of people who encounter some problem and effectively stop trying, unless there are a bunch of helpers running around / they pair up.

Anyways, I hope it's fun and fruitful!

Alright peepl, what is the best place you've ever vacationed? (Besides @ #buidl_bali) :) Scheming for my next winter trip...

Hiking the stunning Napali coast in Kauai was a meaningful experience for me. I was there in January and it was warm if a little rainy. I'd love to go back soon.

How about you?

I mean this literally. Don't wait for their birthday, father's day, or whatever. Gift now and take them to dinner or something later. A lot can happen between now and then.

I am always surprised by the level of confusion people have about reality.

I feel the same way. And not least about myself. Are we not all as deluded at some level as ants in a terrarium? With what esteem would our creator hold our deepest wisdom?

What are the obstacles to truth and how can we root out our own ignorance to the limited extent that is possible?

Are you storing this stuff in plastic? You need to get some glass bottles. The acid from the lemon is going to cause leaching, especially if the plastic is aging.

Now using glass, thanks for the tip!

Only using 1.5 teaspoons of pepper rather than 1 tablespoon. And just plain water this time, no coconut water on hand.

The final product. It tastes... healthy (but not too bad overall). I would probably not drink it on an empty stomach. Apparently having it with fat improves absorption of the curcumin.

Temporary posts that anyone (including web2 users, no login or only twitter-connect) can make, that expire after 24 hours.

That's cool, almost like a parallel water-cooler discussion, an informal chatroom.

I can see how a probiotic could benefit hygiene, but I don’t think I would want to stop showering. This seems unhygienic any way you look at it.

It does sound pretty extreme. Although other animals seem to do pretty well without ablutions.

I'd like to try the no-soap approach (still showering). I'd still use soap on my hands though. Will research this more first.

Wow, that is amazing. I had no idea this existed. Really interesting. It does seem to be an all-or-nothing strategy though: you'd have to give up washing to develop the microbiome.

It does seem pretty extreme, lol.

I'm wondering if a water-only regimen (no soap or shampoo) would work.

I met someone who only washed certain parts of their body for skin-care reasons. It seemed to work for them.

Wondering if his body temperature actually lowered significantly. Seems like his survival may have been due primarily to the extra oxygen in his blood, as it doesn't sound like he came into skin contact with the water.

I do confirm it works on Firefox too now. The funny is I cannot locate how to login using my mail. When I logout, I am prompted to login only using metamask.

Ah, I should make that more clear. There should be a gray "sign in with email" text link under the big blue "sign in with Web3" button.

If you don't have a Web3 provider, it shows you the email entry form as the primary element.

Padua - near Venice :) Venice was cool. Had everything you hear about. Was also overpriced and packed with tourists. I got more enjoyment out of the aggressive gondala sales pitches and anti-tourist graffiti more than anything else.

I had a similar experience there. Must be tough to live there with all the tourists. The same can probably be said of many other cities though.

In fact, when people visit San Francisco they often make the same remark, because they obviously tend to spend time in tourist areas.

I don't envy visitors. It can be a real hassle.

However, I suspect the process will only get more intrusive.
