Mmh fair enough. On 2nd thought, I'm going to skip buying it until I get through my current online courses & books. I've leaned too far towards buying books & educational resources 'just in case' - then never getting around to utilizing them. Video courses & audiobooks... (1/2)
... are my preferred mode of learning, however (after experimentation), so it's great to know that this exists. When I get to the point that I'm willing to drop $60+ a month on books/courses again, I'm definitely gonna get this. (2/2)

For those who haven't experienced it, consuming more than the prescribed dose of MCT oil (which is basically refined coconut oil) doubles you up with pain for hours and necessitates frequent trips to the bathroom. Besides that, it's great stuff :)
Yeah, it's weird as, but cool:
"With MCT oil the ... fatty acids can undergo beta-oxidation immediately, meaning that your cells can break them down for energy without help from the liver."
For some reason, taking too much makes it act as an irritant & your body flushes it out.

Fellow Peeple - we are nearing 1350 of us after 2 months. Taking a page from @lion, I'm awarding $5 to the closest guess, with the date & time (include timezone), of when we'll hit our 2000th Peeper. Contest closes when we reach 1900. Reply to this peep to enter. Good luck

+1 for MCT oil. Lets you experience some of the benefits of keto without being zero carb. Over-doing it is not fun though :)

at this point, i'm primarily interested in just managing my body better overall (and sticking to a routine, haha). very encouraging to read that it seems to work, in some way, for so many people! i'm not ready to change my diet just yet, but am down to research methods.
(**Peepeth** _has_ *_markdown??_* Sweet!)
Nice. That's a good goal. Diet/fitness is a great starting point for more order & routine in my experience... which I've only recently come to appreciate how powerful it is.
Experiment! All the best with it!

almond flour is wonderful. i've used it a lot to make gluten-free products. coconut flour is great too, if you can get a hold of it. from a professional baking perspective this recipe seems pretty solid: https://www.fatforweightloss.com.au/recipe/keto-bread/
Huh, cool to see other Peepers on keto!
Anyone else doing other #bodyhacking strategies?
I use MCT oil & build my diet around low sugar & high fat/protein foods. For ~6 months I did keto & 18:4 IF, but I found since I wasn't actively muscle building I got skinny. Felt gr8 tho!

correct me if i'm wrong but steemit is a mess because everything is based on money and people got greedy. nothing organic sees the light of day when users can buy their own upvotes and follows.
SteemIT is nice sometimes, because there's a certain number of honest people who don't game/attempt to game the system, and it's nice to see them get rewarded for posting quality content. Unfortunately I have to agree though, too much focus on money is attracting too much greed.

I've been trying to break into the core blockchain industry for 5 or 6 years. To work with people I really respect on a project I really believe in. Today was a major milestone as I stood with my new team alongside one of the first companies I ever supported as a community member
Congrats @Chris!
I just shared 6 tweets in a row from Twitter.
In instant hindsight, this actually seems like a bad decision. If Twitter ever dies, those links are useless. And why migrate to Peepeth if all I would be doing is copying links from a centralised version?
I'll learn from it & stop.
Incredible. Google's new AI assistant "Duplex" talks on the phone: including human speech imperfections like ums, ahs, and pauses.

i hope for the same. but it could go many ways, really. either they'll sympathize/empathize with our peeps, study and learn from them, long for simpler times, or just flat out laugh at us from space. who knows. if anything, i would hope future humans keep their sense of humor. :)
Yes, all of that. :)

A very interesting (positive) incentive occurs with Peepeth: the limit of 15 actions per blockchain save.
If you like a cheap gas price, then you have to take regular Peepeth breaks & wisely spend your peeps/follows/interactions.
IMO it improves post quality & user wellbeing.
