Concept @Bevan - when selecting "Tweet", reduce char limit by 4, append 🐧🔁🐦 to the tweet, and replace Peepeth handles with their equivalent Twitter handles if a Twitter verification exists.

I imagine the first 2 would be fairly simple w/ front-end JS, but the latter harder...

A good place to start is any meal with meat that doesn’t bring you joy is a meal not worth having animal products in. That’s pretty much the impetus for my vegetarian journey. Then you eat meals where vegetables are the Star.

Every meal gives me joy these days, so I should start making more joyful vegetarian food next - yeah?

Get to work early, listening to a good book or podcast on the way. Fill up a mug of tea. Get things done, chat with coworkers. Get off early and go home to cook. Put the meal in and let it cook while I go play frisbee with friends. Come home and eat. Pet my dog. Read a book.

Perfect.

Ultimate Frisbee?

Just bumped into an idea I should have thought of long ago:

When long term travelling, buy a small stack of postcards at every destination. But don't send them. Instead, shuffle them and write thank-you notes with them, to anyone who helps you or lets you stay with them.

Jan 31, 2019 07:02

Yeah, it's strange how social media convinces us that what we write doesn't impact anyone else. There's hardly such a thing as a deleted tweet, so words online almost matter more than in person. #DBAA is a great rule.

I've found that striving for balance over a week is more realistic than over a day. That lets me get deeper on any given thing without the pressure of moving on to the next. Not enough hours in the day :)

Oh yeah, neglected to mention they were just options. Wouldn't do everything in one night, only cook+eat dinner and a combo of 1-2 others.

Intermittent fasting, nice. I did it before for about 6 months, would do it again. As for waking times I find my ideal wakeup time tends to vary between time of year/season. I'd love to continue exploring what type of schedule works best for my biology.

I can't wait to see the 9-5, butt-in-seat, commute-at-rush-hour-with-a-thousand-other-angry-people mentality die out.

My ideal is fairly similar. I like to hit the gym first thing, and skip breakfast (eating 2-3 hours after the gym). Maybe not 100% ideal for recovery, but I get my best work done fasted. I like your mix of work / fun / self dev. Can you explain seasonal waking times?

• wake 4-11am depending on season
• fresh air, breath hard, move & strengthen
• go for a walk preferably with a doge
• high protein/fat breakfast, coffee or tea

I don't know man. Complacency or purposeful sabotage by someone who wanted to send a message/get rich/screw everyone over. Also I think it's easy to underestimate how big exchanges get. We had over 100 employees by end of 2018. That was through the bear market...

I'm betting it's not about getting rich, $11mil is a small percentage of total volume. Gotta be complacency or someone wanting to sabotage the company. Hell for all I know it could be a group who wants crypto to die so they're indiscriminately trying to stain crypto's reputation.

How could they have taken the security of their keys so lightly? No one can guess them. They must have saved the pass on their computer or phone and someone got access. Otherwise, one partner is screwing the other hardcore.

The main thing I will keep repeating about the @Cryptopia_NZ hack is:

Founders are trustworthy.

I can't imagine working for 5 yrs, sacrificing health/relationship/money & putting so much effort into making a trade engine for a scam.

It may be inside job… but not an exit scam.
