I can't answer for him, but I'll chime in for the meantime - and to bump this to the top of the feed. Accessibility. Awareness. Spreading adoption. @Bevan has spoken repeatedly about being as inclusive and as broad as possible More positive social media for the masses.
I did my summary of peepeth on twitter yesterday when the kickstarter launched. It was useful having @Bevan explain in his own words about the site and system behind it in the kickstarter for my twitter peoples. Sadly I don't think I got any takers. :/

Peeping feels harder than posting on other (and deprecated) social media. There is responsibility taken for every move, and having to pay gas makes you reconsider and thoroughly contemplate your actions before submitting them.

Welcome! :D I keep a tab open for twitter and peepeth and check both periodically. Twitter has all my longer term friends on it but this new platform is interested and exciting with creative and intelligent peeple on it so after a week of being here I am thoroughly enjoying it.

I think he is referring to the couple that took a bike trip round the world until they were murdered just outside of Afghanistan by Taliban sympathizers after writing that the world is basically not a dangerous place. Not the best comment to make a point with.

re: donating anonymously, kickstarter does not display backers' names. however, AFAIK you will need to use your real name, which is accessible to kickstarter and the project creator, in order to verify that you are real and that your funds are coming from a reputable source.
I think I figured it out. Why not both? I just donated to the kickstarter and if that doesn't take then I'll just donate the same amount of eth when that round starts up.

No censorship at all - that means giving equal opportunity to flat earthers and NASA for informing masses? And people should just choose for themselves who they think makes more sense?
The spread of memes (and not the pictures but the actual ones) are an unequal equation. Flat Earth will always be around but NASA will win because the education is more palpable for have a spherical earth. The marketplace of ideas is only a free market in opportunity not outcome.
