It wasn't me, but I think I know the owner.
So I think it will be safe for future usage. Good. :-)
#futurism vs #reality: in the end, you will always need of a bank. Think of it: when your crypto-wallet will be worth 5mil$, will you still feel safe to keep it at home?
#Bitcoin is not meant to destroy banks as "safe deposits".

Have a nice week, peeps! Anybody excited for Google I/O? They got a lot of things coming. No blockchain though. 😃
As long as they culture will be harvesting users data as much as possibile, I will not be interested in their technologies.
Have you tried the all new ethereum name service? https://ens.domains/ :-) (#Peepeth is registered already, I hope by the right owners...).

Multiple sources show that it is true, but the success seems to be exaggerated. The beach was cleaned, but keeping it clean is difficult since there is still much pollution in the area. Turtles have returned for the first time, but not in massive numbers. https://bit.ly/2JfN9b7
Thanks for the update. It seems more realistic now (but it was worth the same!)

Me when I don’t clean up my room: Albert Einstein had a messy desk. Clutter makes you creative. I know where everything is. Me when I do clean up my room: Discipline equals freedom. How you do anything is how you do everything. Clean room, clean mind.
It's like seasons: you need all of them. Forever summertime would be so annoying.

I think we, as society, are still too low aware of this.

The race had potential but ended up being a snooze fest. Such a shame that Leclerc crashed in qualifying. We may have had a race. Good to see Bottas take the win. Hamilton needs the challenge.
Ferrari have potential but they are not able to finalize the results. It's a shame. In China they were unlucky. Yesterday it's all their fault.

Firefox runs my essentials, such as todo lists, calendar, mail, project management, and time tracking. Chrome is used as the default for web browsing, and I keep the plugins to a bare minimum to keep it fast. Vivaldi is primarily used for media, such as music and video.
Give a try to Brave (https://brave.com/dre300). The engine is the same as Chrome without all the tracking stuff added by Google.

I switched to Google Chrome (from Firefox) because it was so much faster than everything else back in the day. Since then I've made a conscious decision to forgo speed in some cases for privacy. Today I use Vivaldi or Brave.
Google was “faster” because of this kind of things https://www.zdnet.com/article/former-mozilla-exec-google-has-sabotaged-firefox-for-years/
They did their worst to eat the market.
#Google took 10 years to eat the entire #browser market (using black hat strategies too).

I know gamification is pretty used on social software. I would not pay because I find irrilevant to be first/second/third. What really matters to me are useful contents.

I think the problem every social network that sits on blockchain has today is the inability to break the cryptobubble. 95 percent of content is crypto related or promotion for other blockchain services. There is not much „social“ in those networks.
I do agree, the percentage of people not blockchain-related is pretty small.

Citizens get a random single use private key from whitelisted addresses. Can be issued in person and they can produce ID to check them off (or ink the finger or both).
So you will (1) need an external ledger and (2) you will allow vote-buyers to be able to check if the promised vote was given.

That's not my point. Think of cyber bullism on teenagers (i.e. sexting). A lot of them think/believe that temporary messages are ephimeral while it's pretty easy to save the contents.
Digital deletable contents simply doesn't exist. There will always be a way to store a copy. We don't need to deliver this kind of unuseful features. We should educate people to understand that what you send, will be forever in the hands of the recipient.

Good point. But that person will also carry an immense burden to prove the authenticity of the snapshot. In this raging age of Photoshop, no digital image can legally cut it anymore. :)

Not necessarily, depends on the implementation. Haven't had a chance to test this one, but there are systems which log who saw/opened the email, in that case, if a leak happens, liability is on those who were registered as users who opened the email.
The issue is: they try to sell the feature as "temporary messages" (Snapchat style). Both instead, cannot avoid screenshots. In addendum to this: I would not rely on GMail for any private document.
Replying to @voyager (0x459948a40918d535407fd49bf2c041d546fc37ae)
Sadly, it's only for Gmail, not Google Apps, where I would expect users would benefit more from the confidentiality feature.
This kind of features make no sense: the receiver can screenshot the email. It's anti-educative for non technical people.
Replying to @AnaelleLTD (0x2c89c3660a985ccdebf7e63f5f0f8b83e54cd49d)
Nice share. I like the first feature: setting an expiry date. It's a much more flexible option than the "SELF DESTRUCT" command that you get for Ethereum. :p
A false sense of security: nobody can avoid a photo/screenshot of the email contnent.
