Cool. What is the incinerator for, just burning garden detritus?
Yes, from the #allotment. Mostly hard wood and dried weeds: things that are harder to compost or are weedy. Ash gets returned to the soil.
Hard but fruitful day at the #allotment. Used the #incinerator differently this time, completely reaming it as full as possible, leaving a channel for airflow. It really helps for a nice even burn, and can hold a lot more in one burn. I'm doing this from now on! π§π₯ #gardening

I have whatsapp and I have synced my personal email account only because I might need it in emergency to send a file/document. Thing is, I don't usually switch the internet on my phone unless I need it. I much prefer to wait until I am back from home and use my notebook/wifi.
Good policy. It's easy to be too connected, nowadays.

Ice cream season starts. At least here in Germany. Whatβs your favorite flavor?
Whatever that is! π¦π§
The #moss continues to develop well this season. It's got a bad rep here, but I love the stuff. Need to brush ours clean though, Japanese style! #gardening

I use my phone as an alarm, a clock and a texting/2FA/(d)App testing device, so probably less than 10 aggregated minutes in a 24-hour period.
Very impressive! How do you avoid the temptation to sync email accounts, install mobile social apps, and apps like WhatsApp (things friends/family expect us to use)?
The rarely seen white patch of #ShadowTheCat. Hope he doesn't mind me showing it! π

I am trying that Opera Touch beta for iOS with crypto integration. Such a smooth experience already, that really could get dApps to the masses. Anybody else using opera for dApps?
Welcome to #peepeth! Yes, I'm using Opera on Android. Great progress with their dApp browser and wallet so far. I've switched all my mobile and desktop browsers to Opera as a result. π§π

Thank you for the enso @arf. I wish it was under better circumstances. I looked at pictures of the damage this morning and considering the size of the blaze it was pretty minimal. The bell towers are intact. There is a small hole in the main chapel but not completely caved in.
Not all EnsΕ are happy EnsΕ.
You are right, the flames were huge and raging. It could have been much worse had the wind been stronger or in another direction.
Part of me feels that somewhere along the line, some kind of incompetence has occurred to cause this fire. We'll see.

Nope. Another sad day. https://twitter.com/patrickgaley/status/1117848909877895171
It sucked watching Notre Dame in flames. In a pub in London yesterday, I looked up to the TV and I could not believe my eyes. As the spire fell, it was like we were watching history being lost. Bad feels. πΏ

So true. Meeting a friend for lunch and in the twenty minutes (had to catch trains there and back) sharing monumental life events.
Life in larger cities can be so hectic. Now, I'm trying to change habits engrained as a result of the daily grind in the city.
Funny how we carry on with bad habits as if they are the only option, and the norm. We're all in the same boat, so somehow it must be OK.
I'm meeting a close friend downtown today. We've both been working over 10 years in the City, but have only ever met for lunch once in all this time.
I'm realising how demoralising and anti-social the #salaryman's lifestyle is, having departed from it--at least for now. π π§π
Spent some quality time at the #allotment today. Happy to see our young fruit trees in flower. Here's one of the apple tree blossoms. π§π

That is so cool. I am 33 now and for the past few years I been teaching myself about computers, programming, and networking. I really love this I just wish when I was 14 I knew I loved this stuff and started learning back then. I would have a way different life.
Kudos for getting into it now @kanedizzle08! You're never too old to learn something new, and appreciate something cool.

What does your workflow look like @arf? I just got up to speed with my b9labs course and have *finally* shed my jetlag. Will check out the master course shortly to reinforce topics and get another perspective on things.
When coding quick things like a generic #ERC20, I code/debug in remix as I dig the local Javascript VM option, rather than Web3/injected.
Then I bring it into VSCode for wrapping into frameworks. I like separating EVM stuff from "the rest of it". Remix is excellent for that IMO!

Which workflow are you asking about specifically? I use VS Code to write (or remix), deploy to Ganache as backend. truffle for unit testing.

Programming solidity isn't nearly as hard as getting up to speed with the tool-set and the javascript programming language, promise (pun intended). Slow and steady...
Yes, it's very#javascript-esque as it's based on ECMAScript. However it only goes skin-deep to syntax, it feels much more low-level once coding with it. I suppose it is at the end of the day, a high-level language for a low-level machine: the EVM.

Check out EOS Knights, if you like idle RPGs... someone recently purchased an item I put on the marketplace the other day, for #EOS. It's neat(ish). Good demonstration of how blockchain can integrate with games, in any event.

Is it weird I find succulents kind of cute? Not pretty like a rose which I have a ton of but cute like a small animal. I should get some succulents for my house plants.
I also love succulents. I'll start peeping some of the succulents from our collection. They're the best: easy to maintain and really beautiful. Great for indoors, too!

Yes, I was four times on Madeira and the last one for more than 6 months, so I saw mostly every corner of this beautiful island with his around 15 climate zones, very different vegetations and landscapes. From the highland to the eucalyptus woods to the botanical gardens :)

If I wasnβt allergic (to both cats and dogs, somewhat) Iβd be inclined to test that hypothesis. Maybe servals are hypoallergenic :)
Double trouble! It can be difficult to live with them if allergic; my wife is allergic to cats too. She deals w/red eyes and stuffiness because she loves him.
But she gets really mad when I let Shaddie under the blanket. Can't help it though, whatever he asks for, he gets. πΉ

I was a big fan of cats in my childhood. Don't know what happened to them afterwards.
I kind of did the reverse. My mother never really allowed pets growing up. She always thought cats and dogs were filthy beasts. Now she asks me how #ShadowTheCat is doing on the phone when we speak. Go figure. π

Do you believe bear market is over? [I don't think so].
IMHO: based on the indicators I use, near 1 March there was a clear change in sentiment. Daily EMAs finally reverted back and are on the uptrend.
I don't believe we're out of the woods yet. Performance has been good but it needs to be sustained over a few weeks, not just days.

I had an argument with a family member today about my life choices. This has been going on for years. Mindful peeping means not just the sunshine and roses. Itβs the rain and the thorns too.
I hear ya. Family relationships can be tough. Love, duty, obligation, and of course heaps of rage.
I hope it leads to something positive. Sometimes arguments are the best opportunities to clarify viewpoints.
