That's cool, thanks for suggesting. Anyone else have thoughts about a peepstreak Sabbath, whether optional or required?
Optional would be my preference. Let peepsters peep, as much or as little as they want to peep. IMHO a streak that enforces a mandatory break goes against the definition of a streak.
But I love this idea of accumulating for days off. Great creative thinking peeps!

I had a surreal Lyft Pool ride the other day. The other passenger was telling me about his pure-bred African Serval cat he'd purchased illegally for $5000. We then discussed how cats in general actually show affection to their owners. I always thought that was more of a dog thing
Wow, black market servals, that's not the type of thing you mention to strangers!
Cats are like people: some show far more affection than others. #ShadowTheCat is more like a puppy sometimes than what one may think of as cat... It's adorable.

If you asked me this 10 years ago, it would've been a resounding no. Then in 2014, a cat literally walked into my life, and has convinced me otherwise.
Now, I definitely am an #ailurophile. 💕😻💕

I haven't taken any BC course...yet. I looked into some (recommended) set ups a couple of months ago during my free time, and I was put off by how patchy-esque the whole process is. Now that I'm back to FT work+PT Web Dev studies+home renovations, I have no energy left for it.
Definitely. You've got to tool up, Batman style! Can't show up to the EthDev party with just one tool, but a handful. I am getting my head around it, but I can imagine how it's quite an, erm, mouthful! 😕

Yes, I don't think .gifs are allowed. It had an error about file name. I run some #IPFS nodes anyways, so I don't mind to host it meself. Also, cloudflare kindly caches my IPFS content for me in this manner. 🛰🐧

It uses Chrome rendering engine now. So any Chrome extensions work in Opera too. It's very handy when you browse DApps on Opera desktop, flowing through to your keypair on mobile to sign. It's come a long way since first using it 20y ago. Give it a re-try!

Gotta say opera has a way better dapp browser experience then trust for now. Multiple tabs, dark mode and a add to home screen option for progressive web apps like peepeth!
A few weeks ago I switched over and haven't looked back. The Opera browser isn't perfect, but it's very usable especially for daily peeping. The collectibles browser is a little worser than Trust's at the moment, but very usable. Great for peepin' on the go.

I feel it like a pending task, so I usually feel the urge to complete it. I do understand it is pointless.
I hear you, sometimes the interface gives it a sense of urgency. I tend to do it periodically/queue full, or as @Bevan suggested after a #peepsesh.
It's not that it's pointless... I mean, you get that tiny grey lock next to your post... 😹

Sorry to #necropeep (resurrecting an old peep), just saw this. So true.
I keep thinking how most of those younger than I, jumped the whole dial-up modem BBS and early internet era. They're born into amazingly powerful hand-held devices from day one, fully connected on hi-speed!

Good point! I also think that there isn't enough talk about the hardware needed to jump the blockchain train. Whether it is running a node, coding a Dapp or signing a transaction, there are some minimum requirements that you can't bypass. Clearly, no computing magic here. :)
Have you also taken this udemy Ethereum Masterclass course bundle @AnaelleLTD? If so, how long did it take you to complete?

If price wasn't a concern, I'd use a Mac Pro. Since it does matter, I use a custom PC with Win 10. I run a Linux VM on my server which has an open file share for dev files. The result is I develop using the Windows desktop, but everything is compiling and being served from Linux.
Let me also throw in another alternative approach (that additionally allows remote syncing): develop against Dropbox, Onedrive, or another x-platform storage container on MachineX, build/run/deploy on MachineY. 🖥🐧💻

@arfanzo, are the recent ethereum posts due to the udemy class? Or just doing some experiments beforehand? If it's the class... initial impressions?
It's very much a masterclass: delve into 1000 topics, experiment with them, take away and digest. I've been applying learning myself, outside of the course as reinforcement.
It is at points dry, lots of talking. But that is to be expected.
Summary: so far, it's awesome! ⌨🐧
