Today is only my 14th day of #peepeth. I'm still new, but already I have made new friends and joined discussions. I'm humbled to have received so many of your Ensōs to date. This community is one of the coolest I've come across, hope to continue peepin' it regular! 🤟🐧🐧🐧
I'm sure @Bevan will appreciate your post.
Thank you for the informative peeps! :)

I love studying leadership. 2 thoughts I have: 1. "Wisdom is earned by a lifetime of listening when you would rather talk" (heard it from Finding My Virginity by Richard Branson) 2. Real leaders sacrifice what they could be so that those they lead can achieve their potential...
Interesting perspectives.
It seems to me that leaders don't sacrifice anything at all. Instead, they leverage their lifetime wisdom to prop the newcomers others up. It's a mutually beneficial partnership, I would say. :)

I just love these geometric designs. A friend of mine brought some mini-tapestries from Iran and I was totally mind-blown by the amount of details that went into them.

Determining your investments can be difficult. What informs your allocation percentages? Is crypto a major or minor part of your thesis?
Personally, I see cryptos as a medium to access cutting edge services, not so much as an investment.
Percentages work best for me when left to my intuitive approximation: I'm not fan of cold/hard figures. :)

Ethereum Devs Once Again Approve ASIC-Resistant Algorithm ProgPoW https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-devs-once-again-approve-asic-resistant-algorithm-progpow
The more I look at the state of things, the more I'm convinced that PoS, Sharding and even Raiden Network are not relevant for Ethereum anymore.
If Ethereum was meant to be a "World computer", then it is already doing its job and only needs secure and decentralised finetuning.
PoS is more than a blueprint for consensus/governance. It is a standalone economic model, with stacking being the new FinTech.

Can anyone speak to the issue of scalability with bitcoin? Specifically, it's ability to handle mass quantities of transactions. Right now it can handle only about 7 per second (so I've read), but a company like Chase can handle 24,000 per second...how can this possibly scale?
I honestly believe that when bitcoin will NEED to scale, then it WILL scale. For now, I really don't see what would be the point of fast-tracking the infrastructure when nobody knows what it is that users will need in the near or distant future.
Wait and see...then buidl. :)

Me, I've got a cactus and a few other succulents. I've tried this sensor, also from a colleague (a different one): https://wemakethings.net/chirp/ ... but soon stopped, because they're hard to calibrate for a succulent. Had to face it: they don't care much. #growtech

I don't know how much you list these for on Etsy, but it would be kinda cool to list one here on Peepeth as an experiment. They could tip you the sales price (10% would go to @PeepethApp, not sure how that compares to Etsy). Maybe we could do a community auction? 🤔
Nice idea. Peepeth (platform) could do with some fundraising to support its own development.
Contribution is at the tip of everyone's finger. :)

Thanks. Do you consider this a bug or a feature?
A feature for sure! :)
Though, to me, a "bug" is as valid the result of a process as anything else. It just happens to be an undesirable one.
Ironically, a bug can also become a feature of a system, overtime.
Replying to @ProtegeAA (0xbbe9ad0fcbd911d3c0afcbd62b55a6f825b6c220)
Ooh, interesting. Can you explain more what you mean by amateur/dabbling?
I mean (lone) developers who are buidling for the experience, for the sake of experimenting, human testing and the likes. They introduce a certain randomness in the blockchain space that helps explore its current limits without worrying about "formalities" and "procedures". :)
