Whatever we try to grasp, evades us. You know those little floaters in your eye at times? If you try to look at them they vanish, but if you look ahead and let them exist around you, then you see them again! Happiness is an environment, not an object. To gain it, get sun, sleep, sex, exercise, healthy food, friends and a meaningful task to do.
This reminds me of a quote someone peeped out to the effect of "something to do, someone to love, something to look forward to." (That being a recipe for happiness)

Noted, and well put. Nuclear power has enormous positive potential. But we, collectively, have demonstrated that we will use all available technology in times of war. I foresee the use of tactical nuclear weapons. Do you really think it won't happen? Who is going to stop it?
Scary stuff!
On a more optimistic note, Steven Pinker's latest book makes a case (although I haven't finished it) that we're on a very positive trajectory in terms of peace and many things that seem to cause it (education, wealth). Spiritual teachers speak of a parallel increase in "consciousness". Could it be that we're evolving? Fingers crossed!

@bevan, what do you think about showing IPFS hash of activities batch, between posts?
This is already possible if you click "sign & save" (it will show you the hash which itself contains hashes), if I understand correctly.

Flower Photography. This is an edible Nasturtium flower. I grow them each year from seed and they taste really peppery and fresh.

@peepeth I was wondering why, on the peepeth map there was this nexus of peepers in the boonies east of Fresno, but maybe your being there has something to do with it. LOL. Is there like a crypto Utopia there or something? ;)
Haha, I was wondering if anyone would notice. The map location is based on the location you provide in your public profile, and I think those peeps just said "California". I would guess Fresno is about in the middle of California. (Peepeth also randomizes the location somewhat so they don't all appear on top of each other).
