Hello! I'm Bo and I'm a beginner crocheter so I'm going to be posting the projects I'm most proud of. Once I get good enough I can take your guys requests. I'm happy to be here.
Welcome! Looking forward to seeing your work.

I’ll be reworking a key piece of the storage layer on the RigidBit blockchain that I’ve been putting off for a few months. There was a specific issue I had been unsure about, but it came to me at 5am when I should have been sound asleep.
Nice. It’s great when solutions materialize like that.
Looking forward to hearing more about RigidBit!

Drank my tea and hydrating with water. Going to lift at 12. Bench, curls, and rows. Chinese food for lunch and then I'm planning on starting my cut tomorrow so one meal a day. I have a bunch of meat in the freezer but it should be sealed until I'm ready to eat lunch again.
Nice. Will lunch be your daily meal? How long is your cut?
Doing pull-ups now.
Happy Monday all. What’s on your list for the day? Working on Peepeth badges and related features.

I hope everyone’s Easter is going great. Not a huge fan or really celebrate the holiday. If not just got the food 😂. Wishing everyone a great day.
Thanks, same to you!
Re: easter food, I ate a small chocolate bunny and considered opening a box of peeps (the marshmallow kind; I abstained). How about you?

Not surprising as Cryptocurrency/Blockchain is still in its infancy. I joined Peepeth because I love both of those and want to learn. But as we head towards mass adoption. I think with time it’ll become more social. I hope.
I think Web 2 peeping (no dapp browser necessary) will help quite a bit. It'll be released fairly soon for all existing users; and then for new user signups (along with other changes).

I would not pay because the streak feature seems against digital mindfulness. It motivates people to come back everyday to post something which is not necessary. This is the only feature that is unmatched with the others in my opinion. 🤔
Thanks for the feedback. Streaks may not be the way to go, and I'll likely be changing how that works soon.
It's a balance. To have an impact, Peepeth must be used. Features that encourage engagement (ie more ways to "like") will likely be added alongside the "mindful" features.

How much would you pay to keep your streak going during some holidays? Would that be cheating? Ah, oh well... embracing #web0
Thanks for suggesting. Streak improvements are on the way :)

Happy easter everybody! Been spending the whole day catching up on my reading list. Notable read: Status as a Service (How social capital is to be measured and produced by various human networks) https://www.eugenewei.com/blog/2019/2/19/status-as-a-service
Happy easter! Thanks for sharing this; will be reading it soon.

It’s a beautiful day for a #blockchainroadtrip. 215 miles north to get kid 1 who just ran a 5k and 215 home. Good times with ElectrifyAmerica
Awesome! And congrats to your kid :)
It's about time I went on a #blockchainroadtrip (and ran a 5k for that matter).

If you ever decide to take a serious look at it, check out P90X3 and 22 Minute Hard Corps. They're both the same guy, but much quicker and harder than the original P90X. It's a great workout if you have a tight schedule and need to finish in 30 minutes instead of 90 minutes.
I'd forgotten that the "90" means 90 minutes. Will check out the shorter versions, thanks for mentioning.

My favs change depending on a number of factors. Right now it would probably be plain vanilla with a large dollop of unsweetened whipped cream, dark chocolate fudge sauce, raw cocoa nibs, roasted mixed nuts, and finished with a dusting of unsweetened cocoa powder.
I had one like that in Germany, but all mixed together and with cinnamon. It was called Marrakesh and was very good.

I've been taking it easy for a few days because of severe allergies, but I might go back to P90X today.
Cool. I’ve never done P90X but it looks legit. Have enjoyed doing more calisthenics recently.

I heard about it in a talk. I think it's described in the book "Smoke gets in your eyes" by Caitlin Doughty but not sure.

What are those? The „circle“ is like? I don‘t see any explanation (might be the way i access peepeth).
There should really be a beginner's guide. That's in the works for Peepeth 2 :)
For now: if you click it, an explanation should appear.

Yeah, but i miss something more common. Like a little nod to let the other person know i‘ve read or agree with their stuff without needing to type out a reply.
This will be part of Peepeth 2 :)

I'm keen to just be thrown in the sea or earth, no formaldehyde or embalming chemicals.
A related option is a commercially available "mushroom suit" lined with fungus and bacteria that helps you degrade more quickly.

Greg McKeown, the author of my favorite book, Essentialism, explains the idea of “Less but better” mindset recently. Even though the book is originally published almost eight years ago, I think it still works really well today. https://youtu.be/h8u4clhDHvQ
Thanks for the book recommendation.
"Less but better" is also a quote by Dieter Rams, a designer. I liked the Gary Hustwit film about him: https://youtu.be/AZU5xP5lNHk

What’s the growing rate of #PeepEth? Is there any statistic somewhere?
Basic stats are here: https://peepeth.com/stats
The growth rate has been pretty slow. That's ok, as Peepeth is in an experimental phase. Preparing for Peepeth 2, which should kick it up a notch :)

Thx for the rec! Alex is incredible. Unique guy too - lives in a van, listens to "Last of the Mohicans" soundtrack on repeat while climbing, very little fear. I'm sure this doc is a great dive into his life, but if you're looking for more, check out: https://youtu.be/Qh3p5E1d-5U
Cool, thanks for the link!
There is some van footage in the video, it looks pretty nice. Re: fear, apparently his amygdala is much less excitable than average (explored in film).
Really liked the film. There are some great moments that shed light on his personality.

How long do you spend on your phone per day? Going to cut back to 1 hour and see what happens.
Stay under 1 hour was tough. After I hit my limit I realized I still had to use the timer, take notes, and respond to messages. Going to stick to it for a week then re-evaluate.

Hey Haley, sorry about that, it looks like your Twitter authorization had expired and must be re-authorized. You can re-auth your Twitter account in Preferences => Settings tab. I'm improving this feature so it'll be more clear when / how to re-authorize. Glad you got your ETH :)

What non-fiction books have you doubled down on / studied in depth?
One of mine is the Perfect Health Diet by Drs Paul and Shou-Ching Jaminet. Rigorously analytical book that addresses questions raised by more popular titles.
