You follow people you're interested in usually, there's little space for visible 'spam' on Twitter too.
That was perhaps my problem, I wasn’t consciously choosing who/what I followed enough- but still, I find my best learning/exposure resource is more longer form media like (audio)books, podcasts, and videos.
I’ve just listened to "12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos" by @jordanbpeterson and think some of the Peepeth community might like it too. It’s totally free, if it’s your first time accepting an Audible book from a friend. You can get it here: http://a.co/7XlZZ7I

absolutely, 100% yes. twitter may be "free" but is not worth wasting the commodity of time that it takes to sift through garbage and report bots/spammers that don't get taken down (among other issues). paying for a platform such as peepeth will always have been worth it.
Just gonna jump into this conversation to concede absolutely yes, paying for Peepeth >>> the time it takes to sift through garbage on other social media. I quit all my social media back in 2017, and have only used LinkedIn (for posting/connections) & Peepeth since - it's been gr8

Almost finished #12RulesForLife Audible edition by @jordanbpeterson. Great book & great narration. JBP does go off in tangents, but always interesting tangents and it's been a throughly enjoyable/thought provoking listen. Pleasantly surprising is mentions of the logos.
the logos. Thanks Peepeth.

1. Because i'm afraid that exchange will be hacked/seized/exit scam 2. IDEX - no front running, just works, good liquidity 3. Not having to use Metamask
Thanks, I didn't add a part to ask the opposite question - if/why you prefer dex protocols.
Hadn't seen IDEX before so thanks for the tip - https://idex.market/ ?
What don't you like about Metamask? Or are you referring to the friction/being able to have an API for mass trades?

Crypto traders who prefer centralized exchanges:
* Why do you use centralized exchanges over decentralized exchange protocols?
* What are your favorite exchange/s?

Agree with @d2r2 - excellent read from where I got to. Will read the full later.
But the gist rings true. Nobody cares. That’s either scary and lonely or highly motivating. I choose the latter.

The cash envelope is a nice analogy for BTC/cryptocurrency... but isn't it awesome that on the #blockchain, if you throw out your cash at someone and they don't notice it, it flies right back into your envelope?

There's an assumption that dapp users won't want to actively participate in the development and test process. But if it's exclusively for their benefit, and there's no 'profit' spare for dev/testing, I think users will be more motivated to share detailed, qualitative data. (1/2)
Ideally what is it will mean is that we as users take more responsibility for the services we use & play a more active role in producing exactly the solution we need for whatever problem/frustration we have :)
I'll at least volunteer for your UX testing... (2/2)

Still scratching my head on how to do usability test with Mr. Anonymous IN PERSON of course... :-) Perhaps in this case we can do surveys. And surveys can have prototypes in them. I.e. finish a scenario in a prototype that is abstracted from the user's actual account or identity

G'day friend! Yep, we're Melbourne based. You should fulfil your true destiny as a Kiwi and come live in Melbourne. Then you can attend our weekly Ethereum hack!
The hipster cafes, beautiful weather (and Australians) do tempt me, but I'm afraid my current gig at Cryptopia.co.nz is too good to pass up :)
Visiting Melbourne is in my cards for some point though- so I'll make sure to come by when I do!

Yes, I have read that this has been rumored to be true of Bitmain. Obelisk had to form a manufacturing company to pretty much prove this out. The miners now have two streams of revenue--they are literally printing fiat via mining and manufacturing...
Yup - impressive.
