This is a backdrop in the ‘Copenhagen Bakery’ (Christchurch, New Zealand). The week after next (29 oct - 4 nov) I will attempt to find the same place and reply to this peep. Insert !remindme

I believe that application of personal morals is inversely related to the distance from the object of that application. Distance weakens the fabric of society and non-physical personal interaction erodes the strength of human interconnection. Ironic post for decentralized forum.
Good point though - but (as I think Peepeth evidences) - decentralisation doesn’t need to be mutually exclusive with connections and social bonds. In fact, decentralised social media may be able to increase connection simply b/c we can design the incentives better.

Good concept actually. I have a lot of books with me rn despite best attempts to cut them down. 80% are ones I've been rec'd but never *needed* to read. Why not skim all over the next weekend & only keep those I can't put down? https://twitter.com/naval/status/1052856864965152769
@yesinncwb already living up to expectations, really nice lounge to chill out in
Awesome! This may well become one of my top dapps. https://twitter.com/carsonfarmer/status/1052780451901755392

Leg 1/7 complete and 2/7 in progress. Listening to best of Rolling Stones in airport lounge. Delicious Mexican food has been consumed.

1/2 Yo @tferriss! Just wanted to let you know that 7 years after reading #4HWW I am finally flying to GEO (🇬🇪) to start a remote business. Success isn’t guaranteed but thanks to you I have in my mental toolkit: *80/20 analysis *Dreamlining *Fear setting *Pre-selling/validation
2/2 @tferriss so thanks to those + countless internalised lessons from #TFS and your blog, I feel pretty well equipped to make it work.
And the worst case scenario? I fly back home having learned a fuck ton of lessons.
Thank you for lighting the path for me and so many others.

2 hours til I head to the airport! Much more comfortable with the feelings of anticipation today, than I was 2.5 years ago.
Clever lads will spot the RARO neatly packed up for it’s new home in Belgium.

Hey Carson! Glad to have you - love Textile’s concept and functionality. What do you use for tracking/analytics? And is any of your code open source?
Looking forward to sharing this with more people!

@textile01 any chance you can integrate with @bitly or another URL shortener to allow bigger Tweets?
Additionally, being able to invite + share an image of a threads at the same time would be awesome. Perhaps use the first posted photo as the thumbnail for social media?

@peepethApp: blockchain based, transparently moderated, not free speech @getOnGab: conventionally hosted, 80% free speech, overrun with porn bots and alt-right (but has potential to get better) @minds: like👆but blockchain based, nice mix of photos/crypto news to balance politics
I'd say key benefits of @peepethApp are:
*You own what you post (both positive and negative consequences)
*Strong, positive vision (better social media) rather than negative, eliminating vision (not censored)
*Great community
*Charity bent (i.e. @AgainstMalaria) from the get-go

how does Peepeth moderate free speech?
Certain posts are censored (like muting, but works for everyone) and some users are banned. Best thing to go to for full-blown free speech is Gab.ai and Minds.com - I've tried both out, they're cool platforms but in my experience are overrun with (American) politics.

thanks VK!
Note to self: prepare well in advance (e.g. 6-8 days) before leaving New Zealand for 2+ months. Insurance suspension, travel debit card, compiling itinerary, packing, etc. all takes way longer than you expect and you WILL have at least one “10 mins” job extended to an hour.
