Currently on hold for @realme (NZ govt identity verification system). This is the best hold music I have listened to in ages. A mix of Bossa Nova, African drums, psychedelic stereo - whoever did the music selection needs a promotion.
Another great #blockexplorer: @cryptoID_info by Fairglu (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=221182).
100% custom built block explorer hosting 255+ active cryptocurrencies, with a free API, address obfuscation (i.e. assigning names to big addresses)
Who actually needs to understand blockchain?
*Programmers
*Lawyers
*Economists
But users? No. Case in point @peepethApp's with @trust/@trustwalletapp, and @Coinbase.

4 things the crypto industry needs:
1/ A UX that isn't frightening to non-techies and doesn't mention blockchain/crypto
2/ Tools for easy+secure private key management
3/ Fiat-crypto liquidity / interoperability
4/ A functional stablecoin
@tylercowen on rereading:
* Classics, once every 10 years
* Classics cover to cover
* Most books he doesn't finish (1 in 10)
* He largely reads to understand his guest's histories & mindsets
* Reads mostly in physical form b/c memory is better

Insightful listening to @MartyBent on @APompliano #OffTheChain - former economist turned Bitcoin educator. Refreshingly positive view of Bitmain/mining.

This is definitely planned, but I currently like the idea that you have to pay and somewhat invest in the platform to become a posting member. The quality of the posts are better.
So if there's a way to preserve that quality while making it more accessible to everyone, that would be great.

First peep! This is awesome, but how can we make it free for people to sign up for Peepeth? Gas costs to sign up - no matter how low - are too high friction.

Aha, didn't even notice! What a casual.

Here's 3 examples of how @Etherscan goes above and beyond the stock standard community block explorer, and provides enterprise value: /2
3. Allows bulk CSV export of transactions for easy data analysis/comparison with internal records (see below), saving culminative 00's, possibly 000's of hours of manual pagination. Also, lessens the likelihood of typos/accidental partial copy pasting of values

2. Differentiates between ETH and ERC-x transfers, allowing retailers/exchanges to easily tokens have been received/sent, in a visual way. Saving a lot of time & potential mistaking one token for an impostor.

@Etherscan never fails to impress me. An example of a very well made block explorer. More people need to be exploring the space of enterprise-level blockchain interfaces... /1

For those types of sites how come you're not on one of those shared hostings with everything unlimited?
Was following a free trial setup guide, expected much lower costs. Still reckon there’s been some kind of mistake. I was able to get EC2 WordPress instances operating with smalltime S3 buckets, running for less than $3 a month on AWS.

I see the rich guy is definitely less happy even though he got all that stuffs. Money does not buy happiness, but it is nice to have some.
Really? I thought they were equally happy. And both said money does buy certain freedoms and things that provide happiness.

I've found this too. And agree about the difficulty of injecting novelty into your normal life. Voluntarily breaking your patterns on a regular basis is easier said than done.
And yes re: voluntarily breaking patterns - do you have any tactics for that? Scheduled periods to take stock?

Same - I’ve noticed it as top digital nomad city on NomadList for a while.
