Good morning, #PeepEth! #mornings #goodmorning
Good morning! <3
The CIA's failures in China under the Obama Administration have left a dark cloud over operations for nearly a decade. Only now, eight years after the deaths of more than 30 spies, do we even know what happened.

Good morning! Livestream over on our Facebook at 10am Eastern - join us live from #DC, we'll talk crypto updates, more info on Alex Jones' banning, and our own YouTube issues lately. https://facebook.com/FulcrumNews (until Peepeth offers streaming here!) See you soon :)
I'm not sure Peepeth has the infrastructure to offer streaming... but BitChute is getting close!

Hy Peepeth ! My first Peep is about this fully decentralized GitHub where each repository is controlled through a Aragon DAO :) https://medium.com/ryhope-network/pando-b5e1a2af3152
Hello and welcome! Thank you for sharing this, I'm very interested in a decentralized VCS right now...

Isn’t it all so crazy? I mean, don’t they realize they’ve made him 10X more popular? These guys are really in panic mode and it’s super obvious. What’s your take on this guy: https://youtu.be/YyPmVqJ0TlE
Joe Rogan comes across as a bit hypocritical, in that clip. Rogan, throughout the 90's and 00's, asserted that humans were a cancer on the face of the earth. Should everything he's done be invalidated because of a few misdeeds? Should he be subject to the court of public opinion?

Some people will never interact with a government. Some people will never interact with the internet. Some structure their lives in preparation for marriage and children, and others leave their legacy in thoughts rather than genes. But they all live their lives. Beautifully.
Finding that beauty, learning from that beauty, experiencing the depth of history and culture which created that beauty... this is what drives me, more than anything else.
You and I may disagree. But that does not mean I don't find you beautiful. You're made of beauty.

I apply the TMTOWTDI principle everywhere in my life, and there is nothing I consider, without considering the possibility. In life, there's always more than one way to live it. Some discipline themselves through religion and tradition; others live unrestricted, undisciplined.

I was a Perl programmer for most of the 00's. I did work in other languages (mostly C, Ruby and JS), but Perl defined the philosophies behind my programming. Most important among those? "There's More Than One Way to Do It," or TMTOWTDI (pronounced, "tim toady").

Theme design for WP can be such a pain. I'm a minimalist, looking to utilize the latest advancements in CSS; so I've forked the _s theme and started gutting it, removing all the cruft and things that stand in my way. https://github.com/sevvie/accents

What is the info about the crowdfunding? Is it Kickstarter?
From what @bevan has said, he will be using Kickstarter starting on Monday, and later in the month launching a cryptocurrency crowdfunding page.

I always grow skeptical, when I see people speak of a better world, or some new zeitgeist in intelligence. Stalin and Hitler, surrounded by intelligent people, strove for a better world built on intelligence and excellence. But people will always be people.
I mean not to insult the kindheartedness of those here, or anywhere; that is not my point. My point is, elitism can blind us to truths about the world as a whole and create just as many devils as religious doctrine.

This is exactly why I wrote the article I did; people are jumping at the opportunity to use Alex Jones' name for sensationalistic clickbait. I clarified in the article I wrote that it is Capital Coin and Bullion, not Alex Jones, who ran the pirate radio station.

Apple is proud of their policy that they do not sell user data (I believe that 3rd parties have no contact with user data that Apple has on us), so it might not be Apple's workflow, to incentivize bounty hunters to rummage around poking for security holes.
I don't see how those two things are connected.
Even if third-party developers have no access to Apple's user data collections, this kid most certainly did. Such a security hole at Apple is a concern for all their customers regardless of Apple's workflow.
A pirate radio station that aired Alex Jones' radio shows has been taken down. No, it has no connection to Jones himself, despite what the media might be saying. https://sevvie.ltd/news/pirate-radio-station-aired-alex-jones-taken-down/

How do people feel about this?
The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, and Australia's equivalent, are extremely broad and inspecific laws. A kid this smart could have been incentivized to respectfully disclose the vulnerability -- but because of the general criminalization, he was incentivized to seek recognition.

That's great. All I meant by the double-edged sword comment is that there are both pros and cons to a post being permanently recorded on a blockchain. Pro: censorship resistant Con: cant delete regrettable or inaccurate posts
I think that con is also a beauty, in a way. It allows the record of both a mistake, and the correcting of one's mistake.
It takes a strong person, to admit they've been wrong; likewise it takes a strong network to immortalize that human strength.
Happiness is not a human right. Jefferson did not enumerate into Constitutional law the natural rights of man in order to secure happiness, but rather to provide the liberty to pursue happiness, whatever that might be for the individual.

the USA is the end result of "self-interest."
That's a very broad and judgemental statement. The USA has lifted more out of poverty than any nation in history. The acts of people abusing the power and wealth created by the United States, are not the entirety of the United States.

any of the "isms" are just methods of population control. As long as there's money there will always be slavery, poverty and environmental exploitation. Both Communism and Capitalism (and everything in between) uses money, in case you didn't notice.
Contrary to Stalin's goals and ideas in the Cold War, capitalism by itself is not the opposite of communism. Totalitarian state capitalism and corporatism are the opposite of communism.
Capitalism, at its simplest, is the philosophy of incentivization for self-interest.

the federal "income" tax falls on investment receipts; capital gains, dividends, rents, etc. IOW, the type of wealth (income) peculiar to the "elites." Private sector earnings of workers is NOT subject to the federal excise tax. its that simple.
And yet, people fill out their tax forms and willfully sign a paper saying their private sector earnings are part of their "gross income" every year. Why would the IRS stand to disagree? More money for them.

Why was David Seaman’s @Fulcrum @Fulcrum__news video REMOVED by YouTube for violating their terms? I’ve watched it twice now and have no idea what they did wrong. See for yourself: https://www.bitchute.com/video/Qau7NsOGZ2fe/
I've noticed that having a member of the InfoWars team or broadcasting a clip of an InfoWars video/stream is enough to have videos taken down on YouTube. It's absolutely atrocious to me.
A plurality of ideas is so important -- even if the presentation isn't appreciated.

Yeah..well I wouldn’t own any BTC if it weren’t capped at 21M coins. Like gold, crypto must be mined. Meaning someone has to spend time/energy (work) to make it happen. Both being the opposite of fiat credit notes, issued by central banks, uncapped and printed out of thin air.👀
Coin caps are extremely important to keep a scarcity value on the currency. That said, I think we could maintain caps with a proof-of-burn system in which burnt currency is offered to miners post-cap.
This young man is one of my heroes.

Actually, it was @bevan's use of "dumb contracts" which inspired some changes I intended to make today!
